Your...Please email me. ww2pacificheroes@gmail.com . Your grandfather's account of the Battle of Bataan and captivity is very famous. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere; only quotes. It is not clear to me if he was on the Death March. He was a senior officer. It is likely he was trucked to O'Donnell and kept at the Tarlac camp, which was for officers and much better than any. He was not a POW on the Philippines for long. He was sent in the fall to Taiwan, Japan, and then China. He was liberated in Mucken. The museum was a great tribute to those who died, as with the survivors.
