The Japanese used him as a slave laborer and worked and beat him to death.Together with thousands of his comrades he found his last resting place in Kanchanaburi memorial cemetery. May they all rest in peace. Never be forgotten.We lived in the former Dutch East Indies when the Japanese invaded Java and brought destruction,so much pain, sadness to a beautiful country.A war is something so bad, it's hard to describe. It's very important to teach our children that war is a very scary thing, it brings turmoil, sorrow, fear, blood, fire, bombing, explosions, death and many many tears.When it's finally over there are no winners, every body loses.
